Borgo in Palermo – Geraci Siculo

Geraci Siculo It is a small village in Palermo 1.956 inhabitants in Sicily, It is part of the Madonie and is included in the club of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
The origin of the village are very old dating back to the Middle Ages, This is a modest village devoted to agriculture and pastoralism.
Among the most important traditions, taking place in this charming village, there is the festival dedicated to St. Bartholomew and James and Annunziata, the feast of the Crucifix, the jousting tournament in period costume and every seven years there is the “Carvaccata of Vistiamara”.
