Monumento a Serradifalco – Victims for Terrorism

On the right in Via Pope John XXIII at the intersection with Via Volpe, Here lies the characteristic Monument to Serradifalco in honor of victims of terrorism.
The structure was designed by the artist and sculptor Oscar Carnicelli in 2004 and it is of particular interest; indeed, architectural elements, graphics and sculptures that compose recall the tragedy of the Twin Towers on 11 September 2001 New Tork and the massacre of Nasiriyah 12 November 2003.
Every part of this monument in Serradifalco is not left to chance; the concrete wall on which stands the structure represents the strength of the West, while the cracks that you see inside are the violence and hatred of man.
Also, it, It was made with different materials, which can allow a greater play of reliefs and give greater plasticity of the monument.
