Arancino al sugo is a typical product of Catania, a good and tasty recipe that has revolutionized the way of eating rice.
This product consists of a pyramid of breaded and fried rice, stuffed with meat sauce, the name derives from the typical colour of the frying which recalls that of oranges.
The preparation is very simple as you have to cook the rice grains al dente, mix it with butter and pecorino, let it cool and insert a generous spoonful of sauce inside, finally pass it in the beaten egg and breadcrumbs and they are ready to be fried.
