It was built in 1717 and is the most important in Santa Caterina Villarmosa. What immediately strikes the visitor is the evocative white facade covered in 1879 with the characteristic stone from Syracuse, demonstrating that the inhabited center was then particularly rich thanks to the skilled and patient activity of embroiderers who produced precious crochet works and sought-after embroideries requested by Sicilian nobles from all over the island.
