The library in San Cataldo was established in 1973 following a proposal by some residents to create a cultural civic association. In 1981, it became part of the Municipal Administration.
The library provides 20 seating places and offers the following services: on-site loans, consultation, bibliographic information, specialized research with computer support, and cultural consulting.
Additionally, it is used for meetings with book authors, guided tours for school groups, an integrated project with local schools promoting books and reading.
It is also possible to watch films and documentaries thanks to the presence of a multimedia room.
