The church in Piazza Armerina dedicated to Santo Stefano is located near the Porta San Giovanni. The building was constructed between the 1500s and 1600s. It features a facade adorned with Baroque decorations, and alongside it rises a beautiful bell tower made with finely crafted stones. Inside, there are numerous frescoes, gold sculptures, and two magnificent 18th-century chapels dedicated to St. Gregory the Great and the Crucifix.
